Who we are
This website is run by Reignark Labs Ltd ("Reignark Labs", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16148009. Our registered office is 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, or want to exercise your rights, email hello@reignarklabs.com.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your company and details of your project.
- Why: to reply to your enquiry, discuss a possible project, and provide our services if we work together.
- Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business. If we go on to work together, performance of our contract with you.
When you visit the website
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This information is used for security and to keep the site running, not to identify you.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint your device, and doesn't identify individual visitors. We only see totals.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how it's used.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser for this check only. It doesn't use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Cookies and local storage
We don't set any tracking or advertising cookies, so you won't see a cookie banner. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated attacks.
If you use the light and dark mode switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that protect it:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security, analytics, spam protection and email routing.
- Google: email hosting for messages sent to us.
- Our accountants and professional advisers, where needed for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based in, or process data in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to two years, then deleted.
- Client and project records: for six years after the end of the engagement, to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- Website security logs and analytics: kept by Cloudflare for limited periods under its own retention policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, email hello@reignarklabs.com. We'll respond within one month. There's normally no charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we restrict access to personal data to the people who need it to handle your enquiry or project.
